Katahdin Sheep
Katahdin sheep were developed in Abbot,  Maine less that 20 miles from our farm.  Katahdins are a meat breed that has hair instead of wool, a real plus for us since no shearing is necessary.  Most Katahdins produce twins, sometimes triplets, so you may achieve 200+% lamb production per year.

We currently have four adult ewes and a ram and maintain the sheep on pasture & hay only.  We are enrolled in the USDA Scrapie program.

Our 2008 lambings consisted of three sets of twins and a set of triplets.

Available 2008 - two ram lambs, raise yourself or we will raise as locker lambs for you.
